What ImportCheck does

ImportCheck validates CSV/XLSX files to help you spot issues before importing them into another system.

Uploads

• Uploaded files are processed temporarily to generate validation results and previews.
• Files are not used for training and are not shared with third parties.
• Files are deleted automatically after a short time.

Account data

If you create an account, we store your email address and a securely hashed password so you can log in.

Waitlist and contact

If you join the waitlist or contact us, we store your email address and message content to reply to you.

Email delivery

We use an external email service provider (Resend) to send transactional emails such as waitlist confirmations or replies to contact requests.

Only the data required to deliver the email (email address and message content) is processed. Emails are not used for marketing purposes.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.

The hosting provider processes technical data (e.g., IP addresses, access logs) as required to operate and secure the service. This data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest.

Analytics (Umami)

We use Umami Analytics to understand how the website is used (e.g., page views). This helps us improve ImportCheck. We do not sell personal data.

Our analytics setup is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not require you to create an account or provide additional personal information. We aim to use analytics without tracking cookies where possible.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data (encryption in transit, access control, minimal retention).
